Rees Valley Station, which is rated one of the area’s most scenic places to ride. This 37,000-acre sheep station borders the World Heritage Mt Aspiring National Park, where some of New Zealand’s most famous walking tracks depart.
DIRECTIONS TO Base 1 – 243 Priory road, Glenorchy 9372
Drive to Glenorchy, turn right at roundabout onto Paradise Road.
Go over Presperise Bridge then go over Rees Bridge. At first left turn onto Priory Road (sign posted).
Go over Diamond Bridge. 2.5km – Driveway 1st left – sign posted.
If you go over Dart Bridge or any UNSEALED roads you have gone wrong so turn around.
Allow 1 hour from Queenstown to ensure you have time to photographic the spectacular scenery, described as some of the best in the world.

Follow the Glenorchy Road from Queenstown 44 km to Glenorchy, Once at Glenorchy…
Turn right at the roundabout on to Paradise road
Go over the Precipices Bridge
Go over Rees River Bridge
Go straight ahead onto Glenorchy Paradise Road (Gravel road, go slowly)
Follow 12km passing the Beautiful Arcadia Homestead, and then the road will take a 45 degree turn to the right.
We are 800 metres on the left hand side, just before the cattle yards. SIGNPOSTED AT ENTERANCE
